7.1. Estimations of measurable results We estimate building a mobile device that will prove to be unique at a national level, ready to be used in the logopaedic field in order to ameliorate children's
speech impairments. The results of the research are going to be materialized by submitting and publishing articles at various national and international conferences. The device is going to be commercialized
and we estimate a production cost that will make it accessible taking into consideration the family budget.Expected results:
§ software programs for automatic therapy of speech impairments, especially for the 20 most
common dyslalic forms. §
mobile devices for autonomous or supervised(as a part of logopaedic therapy) training § phono
articulatory 3D virtual model which will allow to simulate the sound effect both in the case of correct or incorrect pronunciations § elaboration of a therapeutic guide for correcting the dyslalic forms
7.2. Expected benefits
§ the reducing of therapy period § using video and audio models and effects, the therapeutic activity will be more attractive for the children
The virtual model of oral cavity will allow showing how the elements that are involved in the act of speech have to be correctly positioned. This way the patient will have a strong three-dimensional
visual tool to explore and interact with. 7.3 Capitalization of intermediate results in final project Psychological research from first stage will be immediately used by Regional Logopaedic Center
from Suceava County. Also, in this facility will be used the intelligent system developed in second stage of the project in parallel with the work on the mobile device.
7.4 The modality for dissemination of research results and potential partners First, the system will be implemented in Regional Logopaedic Center from Suceava County. The results will be
disseminated in National Network of Logopaedic Centers and from there to the principal beneficiary, the kids with speaking problems. The partial and final results of the research will be presented to
national and international conferences, popularizing the system and his benefits. 7.5 Specifications about redistributing the copyright The intellectual property for each partner will be according to the project's schema realization. The industrial property belongs to the University of Suceava. |
