6. DIAGRAM OF PROJECT EXECUTION:

6.1. Project development in partnership

The project will be coordinated by the University „Stefan cel Mare" of Suceava more specifically by the Center of Research in Computer Sciences (CNCSIS recognition). Research will be conducted on the development of the intelligent system, the 3D virtual simulator, multimedia software for the mobile device and System on Chip design. The project will benefit by the colaboration with another research center pertaining to Univerisity of Suceava, the Center of Research for Process Control (also, CNCSIS recognition) that will deal with specific details regarding the design of the mobile device and implementation of the dedicated microprocessor.

The project considers complex research in the following domains:

Pshychology (University „Alexandru Ioan Cuza"  of Iasi – Facultaty of Pshychology)

    - elaboration of methodologies for the evaluation of children suffering from speech impairments and elaboration of a terapeutical guide

Computer Science (Technical University „Gh. Asachi" of Iasi, University „Stefan cel Mare" of Suceava, S.C. Genpro Suceava)

    - development of models for the formalization of the evaluation and terapeutical procedures
    - development of a automatic system for monitoring the evolution of child's pronounciation based on the evaluation proceedures already developped
    - development of an expert system that will include therapeutic procedures and will consider the child's previous evolution and progresses

Digital Electronics( University „Stefan cel Mare" of Suceava, S.C. Genpro Suceava, S.C. CAOM SA Pascani)

    - design of the System on Chip architecture in VLSI technology that will serve as a hardware support for the mobile device

Information and communication technologies (University „Stefan cel Mare" of Suceava, Laboratoire d'Informatique de Lille)

    - development of a virtual visual-audio simulator of the human phono articulatory mechanism
    - multimedia data processing including audio and firendly graphical user interface
    - communication between the mobile device and the logopaed's desktop PC
The partners will benefit of communication via internet and mobile technologies.

Cofinancing partners : SC Genpro srl and SC CAOM Pascani will participate with 16000 RON and also with necessary equipments for the technological transfer and for the development of the commercial version of the mobile embedded device.

Implication of the beneficiars that valorify directly the results of the research;

The project involves the Logopeadic Regioanal Center of Suceava (CILJ Suceava) that agrees (by means of the appendix 27/29.01.06) to collaborate on all the timeline of the projetc. CILJ Suceava will be the first beneficiary that will valorify the results of the research. The accumulated experience will be dissimilated in the network of Logopeadic Centers.

CLIJ Suceava will cater for the audio data samples (aproximatively 1000 samples of the following phonemes: r, s, º, t, þ, ce, ci – in accordance to IPA – International Phonetic Alphabet), will clasify the samples on different disorder types and will offer logopaedic support for the design of the 3D phono articulatory simulator.

Young researchers involved in the project

The project involves 4 reseach assistens, 5 PhD students and 15 master students. The cofinancing enterprises will involve 4 employees, formerly students in Automatics and Computer Science.

Existing and promoting international colaboration for attaining the project's objectives

The project will involve Laboratoire d'Informatique de Lille (a codirected PhD thesis) and the Institute for Work and Technology Gelsenkirchen, Germania that acknowledged in writing their intent to participate in the proposal as well as to submit in FP7 Programme.

We also consider the following international partners that sustain our project: University of Ghent, KAHO Gent, Belgia, University Duisburg-Essen, Vienna University of Technology, Universite Joseph Fourier (Grenoble 1) – Polytech'Grenoble, University of Sheffield, Universidad de Zaragoza, BerufsAkademie Mannheim, University of Joensu, Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille, Institute d'Ingenierie de Limoges.
