Facilities & Services
The Machine Intelligence and Information Visualization Research Lab was founded in 2015, featuring state-of-the-art motion tracking and visualization technology, such as a 13 m2 Samsung Wall Display with 8K UHD (7680 x 4320) resolution (33.1 million pixels), a Vicon motion tracking system with 6 Bonita cameras, depth sensing video cameras, a 46-inch Ideum Platform multitouch surface, and various gesture and motion sensing gadgets and wearables. This research equipment supports our design, development, and evaluation effort for new artificial intelligence (AI) and information visualization (InfoVis) technology to support innovative, rich interaction between humans, computers, and environments.LAB Sponsors
