Abstract

The goal of this project is to design, implement, and evaluate interactive technology for smart buildings based on mobile and wearable devices and natural input modalities, such as gesture-based input. We are also interested in exploring connections with other smart spaces beyond the building environment, toward smart and connected mobility, for which we explore interactions within smart vehicles as an extension and continuation of the same interactions performed inside smart buildings. This research is primarily part of the "Smart and sustainable buildings" project within the NetZeRoCities national competence centre for climate neutral and smart cities.
